Conventional air purging can take about seven hours to reach the safe level

In 2017, NanoVapor began the process to obtain ASTM standard.

ASTM standard would allow NanoVapor suppression to be used by all airline carriers, without the need to seek special engine and aircraft body manufacturers approval, for each degassing event.
